I got a 2500. The ADAT on the 5000 would be good for my Fireface 800. I don't understand why the 5000 samples at 44100/16 bit only, when the 4000 did 96000/24 bits. That seems odd and very stupid. What's so hard about making it able to cope with 96000/24 bit in 2008?? Stoooooooopid! I could maybe understand if it was low budget kit.

Sorry bro already traded it in for a 5000. Hoping the 5000 will be in stock soon.... Man I just can't live without an MPC! I'm making beats with my DR5, Reason, M-Audio key rig 49, and FL but the MPC lets me be really creative and really take that beat from my head and onto the machine.

hmmm where's global parameter controls on that list...

they are still stuck on the idea of editing the 20+ parameters of pads 1 pad and only 1 pad at a time...workflow KILLER

what'd a computer be without CTRL A?

We all know (speculate) that JJ will sort the 5000 out... It's just a matter of how long 5000 users will have to wait.
When I got my 2500 I was so suprised that the amp and filter envelopes were so basic.. couldn't believe it actually! I've got 3 analogue synths, an FZ-1 and a DX and have never known an envelope not to be ADSR (...hmmm except for my RS09.. but that's a very simple string synth so I aint countin it?!?!).
Anywayz.... JJ has sorted that most basic of functions out with the April release (I speculate) as they have with the 1000.
