I'm in the process of upgrading and I'm trying to decide is it worth buying the 4000 or getting the new 5000. Both are great but i don't know which one to get?

I'm sticking with my 4000...There's no way I will pay $2500 for a 16 bit 44.1 sampler...

4k is half the price if u buy 2nd hand.
So I would go for a 4k and an access virus or something along those lines.
the 4k is a crate load better in most areas apart from the effects which are terrible.
The sysex stuff is going to take the 4k to a whole new level the 5k won;t stand a chance!

But if u just want to sample one shot fragments and loops then buy a 5k it will be so much easy to use.
