1) Do the 500 and 2500 sync with each other, like can they read the files of one another?

2) How much more technical is the 2500 than the 500? I've read the 500 manual 2-3 times and I know the 500 pretty well. Could I just transfer what I know with the 500 to the 2500 or does the 2500 take a lot longer to understand and use?

I've got a 500 and I'm thinking of selling it on eBay and copping a 2500. I rarely use the portability option with the 500 and I'm thinking about just selling it and picking up the 2500. Plus the 2500, has a lot more outputs.

The 2500 can read anything from the 500. The 500 can read almost everything from the 2500, but not all.

The 2500 is a bigger and better machine with more options, so it will take longer to learn.
