MPC 2500 or Softs (really need help)

no. you posted something months before i called you out for a beat battle consisting of brand new material created by both parties after the challenge was made. i had a beat created, ready, and waiting, which i eventually posted as a standalone track in the my music forum. this beat received several pages of reviews, mostly positive. not my best track, but certainly enough to have smoked your turkey.

promptly after calling you out, as i remember, you were nowhere to be seen one place or another.

i realize that life can be busy (even when you're living in the past) but your inability to back up your talk is inexcusable.

Hi I just want to say that i have worked with pc and mpc and the true is that is just personal taste, some purist claim mpc3000 have better swing than mpc2000xl same as 2000xl vs 2500 etc

to swing a beat is something alot of programs are trying to acomplish we have the new reason 4 with a new device just for this task

or you still could buy a second hand mpc2000xl or something and set a midi imput and output to the machine so you can record your performance on both pc and mpc and try wich is better and use the swing on the mpc that is part is famous from,

or use the function on reason where you can for example load a cut groove of a drum from a record you like how it swings and there is a function called get user groove where you can make a grid with that chop of the dr rex so what you got there is the swing itself then you can produce your records and use the quantize function where you can quantize using your template of user groove that you got from your chop in dr rex you got it??

so that way all your records will sound with that swing(the program is gonna adapt your secuences to that grid), or the most profesional one learn how to play with swing at the old style real playing!!! you can do it with the pads the important is practice the timming

remember that there is a big difference between what is groovy and swing from one person to the other really depends on wich kind of music are you listening some people could say this is groovy and you will probably say that´s to stiff for me is taste as everything else in music no one musician is the same as the other. so just try!!!
