mpc 1000 tricked out or mpc 2500 same price

i had a 2500 bought but the deal fell through. now i have a chance to either get a 1000 with pad upgrade, jjos, and a classic skin and internal hd and 2gb compact flash with sounds. or a 2500 hundred with jjos internal hd. for almost the same price what would you do. they are very close machines.

The 2500 without a doubt. CF are cheap and you can get a styleflip skin anytime you want. You also get the comfort and ergonomics of a full size machine.

Your eyes and neck will thank you for the tilt screen.

It's easy to tilt a 1k on a stand and the blue display is easier to install.
Keep in mind there are lots of dogged out 2500's out there, so be caution about buying without seeing it first.
In both cases be sure of exactly which JJ OS they have, people try to pass off the free JJ as a JJ OS and it's not.

only depends on if you're gonna be portable
you might thank yourself for the extra outputs later if you are mostly gonna be stickin it to your studio

if you're finding them for the same price, odds are you coould find a cheaper 1k if you looked harder, but it might take some TLC to fix up.
