Mpc 3000 V.s. Mpc4000

I'm in a bit of a conundrum eye can't decide between an mpc 3000 or mpc 4000 to add to my studio. I know that the mpc 3000 has a much warmer naturual sound and the 4000 has much more of a digital sound,but as with any mpc you can manipulate it with a little love to sound just about anyway you wish am eye wrong? My setup is a Korg D32xd, Korg Triton Studio,Technique SL-230 and couple fenders and a few mics.

The 3k is a plus to have but the 4k will intergrate better in your studio.

Eye appreciate that, and came to the same conclusion.But one can produce nearly the same warm sound on the 4k as the 3k correct?

To answer your question above. Technically, they won't sound the same. The A/D converters are different most likely, being that the technology is a decade abroad between the two makes.

They probably will sound a little bit alike.

You will probably opt for a 4000 as it will fit better into your studio flow.

But, if you go with a 3k, you won't be displeased.
