MPC 2500/1000 and the MPC 4000

Hi guys,
I had an MPC 2500 before and sold it a year or so ago. I used the auto slice feature a heap and was wondering if the 4000 had that feature since its around the same price nowadays.

How does the autoslice handle on the MPC 1000 JJ OS??? Breezy?

the 4k does not have chop shop... the 1k 2.5k and 5k all have this... you'll have to do it manually on the 4k ... however the 4k integrates with your pc via akasys, and akasys can use a sample editor of your choice!, that sample editor could be recycle or melodyne and support vst's!... if you don't plan on using a pc the os2.0 for the 5k looks like its going to sort things out nicely.. dunno on the 1k some seam to prefer it over 2.5k.. good luck!
