HDM 10 Kit needed for installing HDD in MPC 2500?

I am thinking about making the transition from the 1000 to the 2500 and I am just curious to know, if I have to keep the HDM 10 Kit for installing my HDD into the 2500 or not. BTW, is the RAM of both machines Identical?

The HDM is interchangable in both units and so is the ram so ur good. If ur switching the hard drive just make sure you REFORMAT it to the new os ur gonna run and waaaala.

doesnt the 2500 come with the HDD kit already installed? i cant remember its been over a year since ive had mine.

yep, it comes in the unit. no need to buy it
