I'm siding with the 1k jj o.s. folks too. Looks can be pretty deceiving, the 2kxl can't even compare.

U can assign as many programs to a sequence as u want to. Depends on what kind of O.S. ur running.

The 1k can't be upgraded to 4 midi outs.
