in the sample edit screen, hold shift while pressing the cursor ^ button and zoom in that way.

I have both machines, I doubt you'll be disappointed. I got a white one for $800 and it works just fine, so hopefully you got a nice deal as opposed to a lemon.

You wont be disappointed. I picked up a used 4000 after a few years of using the 1k (JJOS2), and havent looked back. Mine had some problems with saving initially, but I replaced the HD and its been flawless since. At that price, if there is a problem, see if you can fix it cheaply first before bringing it back. $700 plus a $70 HD is still a really cheap 4k.
