Which MPC purely for Sequencer Use

IF YOU JUST WANT A SEQUENCER THEN THE 1K IS GONNA TAKE UP LESS ROOM.BUT THE SCREEN IS SMALL AND GREEN Y COLORED......AND THE 4K SCREEN IS LUSH.---THE 5K SEQUENCER IS TIGHT THO!!!!

The 5000's sequencer is the best sequencer if u look at the specs.
But it maybe an overkill, paying for the sampler AND the synth. Unless u may want to use those features too. Same for the 4000. (except it lacks the synth feature of course)
Small screens shouldn't be a problem otherwise I would people suggest to stay away from the mp anyway.

I also think a 1000 is the best bet if u look at the value/price ratio. People say the swing on the 60's and 3000's are better, which is hard for me to believe, but I never really worked with one of those machines so who am I to speak.
But talking about replacement parts and practical use these machines are a bit outdated.
So 1k would be the best bet IMO

If grid edit is important for you, you should consider newer models.

Just Sequencer? Get the classic 2000 its cheap.

A 1k with JJ OS2 or 2XL is hands down the best sequencer ever made. No comparison.

In my humble opinion... as long as you are ok with 96ppqn, you can't go wrong with JJ. I have owned a 60 and a 3k, and the 1k with JJ was the keeper, as far as strictly sequencing goes...
