Yes, basically that's I was doing when I had 2000 classic (Zip disks instead of floppies though) but, it was annoying to me.
yeah for sure... I can see that being real annoying for some people.. I got the boot disk working in my workflow pretty well cause I pop it in and boot the machine while looking for the project I am about to work on.. or getting a sticker on a new floppy disk.
The main issue IMO compared to the XL is that it takes longer to boot.
I actually like the 2000 a lot.. and I agree about the zone edit screen... I like sectioning off bits from a long sample better anyways.
