is a 4000 worth the extra$$

gotta 4000, jsu came from a 1k. only reason y people dont likethe 4k is cause they dont know how to work it, so my suggestion to you is read the manual now. cause i havent regretted goin bac to that stupid 1k. especially them dumb ass pads the 1k has....only reason y i still got mine is cause premo signed my shit lol

IMO the 4000 is the king of all modern sampler based drum machines. Its super clean and clear focused sound is great as well as its beautiful timing and sequencer feel.

With my 4k i can produce a variety of different feels with my sequences, and its sound quality leaves much for desire.

The MV is a total POS , its Roland's poor attempt at the MPC concept. It has terrible timing, sluggish user interface, and it holds little value in resale.

You dont see many 4ks going for half the original price.
