nah i'm not updating. the mpc60+s6000 destroys the 2500. but not very easy to tote around for live usage...

As you search for buyers for the MPC 60/S6000...you will find that you don't really have faith in that statement. But its all good.....your MPC 60 is almost 20 years old...even Kurtis Blow had to retire at some point :P

I already had a 3000 that i'm not giving up, so I went with the 1000 instead of the 2500. my friend has the 2500 and its dope, but for me I didnt need two big mpcs. people say the 1000 isnt made well, I dont see it as any worse quality as the 2500. basically get whats good for you, the 2500 is technically better for a G more. if you wanted the smaller one than you can look at is as getting what you want while saving a G. if you got the 2500 because you like the size and extra features then you can look at it as you got the one thats a G better. keep the beats going!

The MPC 1000 is a piece of trash compared to any MPC. It will remain the scum of the earth until Akai releases their MPC 500

3001...I hope you do get an MPC 4000 so you can join the other 5 forum members that have one. I will get bangin on the 2500 exlusively until Akai drops the MPC 9000 at the end of next year (I'll make sure that I am one of the first here to pick one up)...I will spend many days :P the MPC 4000 users because they have yet to receive their OS update for Chop Shop.....

You have obviously never owned/used either machine. In 6 years years, I never had to send my XL in for repairs.
