differences in 4000 and 2500

OK, GOOD INFO GUYS. CAN ANY ONE HELP ME. I AM LOOKIN TO PURCHASE A MPC IN A MONTH OR TWO, IM LOOKIN TO PURCHASE EITHER THE 2500 OR 4000. I HAV A 2000XL AND IM LOOKIN TO TAKE THE NEX STEP IN A NEWER MPC. I HAV A LOT OF 2000XL CD ROMS IN WAV AND 250 MB ZIPS. THEY ARE MESSY ALL OVER THE TABLE AND I WANT TO GET RID OF THE PHYSIKAL CD ZIP CLUTTER. BUT DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR AND FEATURES FOR FEATURES, WHICH MPC IS WORTH BUYIN FOR THE DOLLARS AND FEATURES. PLEES HELP, I DONT WANNA GET JERKED FOR BUYIN THE WRONG PIECE. ANY INFO AND TIPS WOULD B APPRECIATED. THANX YALL, 1

1. First, write down exactly what you need an MPC for.
2. Next, take a look at the specs/features of both MPCs and write down what you want.
3. Now that you know your needs and wants, assign a dollar value to it ($1200-$2800).
4. Using that figure, pick an MPC (new or used) that cost in that range.
5a. Be happy with your purchase...stay out the forums....and create music
5b. Staying in the forums will have you thinking you purchased the wrong machine no matter which way you decide to go.
