I may be totally ignorant as I am new to this(i have an mpc2500 on lay away for a few more weeks yet) but i hear a lot of talk about which MPC "sounds" better/best. How can the MPC have a "sound"?? Wouldn't the "sound" depend on the quality of the monitors you use and the samples etc you put through it. Someone please explain it to me
Thanks

You can really compare those models they don t have the same resolution at all

An mpc 2000 can t be compared to an mpc 60 or an emu sp 1200

mpc 2000 is 16 bit sp & mpc 60 are 12bit

actually you can because its been done
so get off your high horse the op wanted to know the difference between the mpc's so we gave him an answer.
if you want to complain then complain to the person who did the test.
