HELP MPC 4000 or MPC 2500???

My price range puts me at being able to afford either a 4K or a 2500 with a HD and CD drive. I was leaning toward the 4K and still see it as being the best MPC of the newer MPC's (like 2000 and up) from what I have read, etc.

I know all the generic basic stuff. I have had a 1K and didnt like it. This needs to be a stay in the studio unit so the 4K seemed the better option with being able to use a keyboard for editing, HUGE screen with good backlight, and countless other features that Im sure ill never use.

BUT! The 2500 is obviously a nice machine when outfitted properly. SO what Im asking is for the money.... I have a 4K I can get for 1500 blown out. And a 2500 I can get locally fully expanded for 1000.

I love the MPC line of products and want the best they got for that price range. ($1600 max so the 5K is out pretty much)

Any thoughts would be great! Im looking to do this by Thursday so im on the hunt for INFO!!!!!

You have to decide it by yourself, you've gonna be the one who sits in front of the MP.
But you've already made some research, do some more in the comparsion forum here and consider which one you'd rather work and feel comfortable with.

I personally would definitely go with the 4000.
Plus there's no point getting a 2500 IMO since the 1000 with jj offers the same or even more than the 2500.
