Yo! Any DJ's up in here? Been thinking about bringing along my MPC for a gig, to trigger loops, samples and to do some live drumming. No I ain't trying to be the next Fly Lo but I think it would freshen up my gigs.

Anybody in there do this?

The only Flying Lotus vids I have seen is him pushing play on a laptop....

I would do it. That extra element could be really fun and set your DJ set apart.
Also, look at the SP404. I have decided that I love this machine and it is great for two things

1) Live performance
2) Making drum sounds

I personally don't like making beats on it so far though.

I Think we need to be able to arease tracks while in play mode , I jam with freinds alot and i think this feature would be sweet
for change ups in drum rythums track mute works but that extra second changing screens f 's me up. I've tried muting from the main screen , thats a little better, But really id like to be able to drop a track midbeat and use that exact track.
That would be sick, theres a couple other screens I would like to work with while in play mode that i cant and it makes real time jamming a little harder, but what ever.

that dude waas sicck tough execpt for his choice in music no offense I like deeper beats.
