Hi everyone this is probably a slightly different question and request for information.
Although I use a computer for music from time to time I just hate it.
I grew up on hardware sequencers like the Roland MC 5O KORG SQ8 Yamaha QY'S Alesis MMT8.
I like to hear my music not look at it although mixing in the box from a budget point of view is a totally different ball game.
Anyway I am looking for a nice hardware sequencer for sequencing my synths and for live use.
I like workstations and tend to just get more creative ideas down when working that way.
However over the years I have always felt workstation sequencers to have a bolted on feel to them.
I don't think I need anything as powerful as the 5000 as IM just after sequencer use not all the sampling bells and whistles.
Any tips on what to look out for and consider from different MPC users across the board would be very helpful if you guys would be so kind to share your views.
Thanks.
