I'm trying to decide between the two. the only thing I hear is that the 1000 has more pads, can play more samples at once, and has better workflow. Well I don't care too much about 4 extra pads, and I'm new to sampling so I figure I shouldn't overload myself in that department anyways. As for the workflow of the 500, is it something that I could just get used to? y'know, im operating on a budget and would like to keep the extra 500$ if it makes sense to. are there any other valuable features I'd be missing out on? thanks.

This was from an earlier post I commented on in reference to a 500.

This thing goes far beyond physical features, it's about what can it do.

Look up jjos and then look back at the 500 and shed a tear.

Do some research.
