1000 or 2000?

As the thread is called. I'm planning to buy myself an MPC and wonder wich one you guys think i shall have, and why?

I intend to hook it up to my MacBook for mixing and mastering and in that case it really speaks for the 1000, but is there a big difference in the samplers between the 2k and the 1k? I mean would the 1000 just sound like my EXS24 software sampler i have in logic, and can i make for example my s3000xl work together with the 1000?

It's a bit blurry with all my questions, i know. But would really be thankful for som help here!

If I was you I would take the time to research both machines and see what functions you can live with or without. It's all about the work flow and how you want it to work for you.

i have both 1000 & 2000 classic

for the computer age, the 1000 integrates better but i enjoy tapping out/sequencing beats on the 2000 better, the 2000 just gives me a more immediate beat making vibe
and just feels different, you just gotta try em out both if ya can

But how about the sampling part? Not too familiar with it but don't you get a more raw sound on the 2000 than on an 1k?
