Holy grail of sensitivity

Hi all,

years ago, I bought a MPC1000, bt didn't like the pads on it, so got rid. Later, they changed the pads on them. I've now got a MPD32. I've done some sensitivity modding with gaffa tape on the pads, but I'm wondering how sensitive I should be aiming for. Can you get them for they're so sensitive you can get hem to trigger just by looking at them, or do they always need more than a very gentle touch to get them to trigger.

You're the one who is modding, you tell us how sensitive you can get them!

I guess at some point, the thickness of the rubber pads will be a limiting factor in sensitivity. ?

If they're too sensitive you'll probably get them triggering from the vibration of hitting adjacent pads. that would be no good.

Also you can tape lead weights to your fingers, to really add some THIUMP to your beats. lol
