NEW TO MPC, Looking for some Constructive Advice.

Yo up beatheadz,

I've been playing guitar the last 6 years mainly jazz/rock stuff. Could never get far away from HipHop which was, and to this day my first and only love. No experience with the MPC's just been looking at all the vid tutorials via youtube for sometime now.

So I'm considering either getting the MPC 4K or MPC 5K. Any feedback?

yeah grab one.. it will be worth it. personally I would go with the 4k over the 5k... but you gotta figure out what kind of tool you need.

I would go with 2500, most features with the 3rd party OS (JJ OS), old MPC´s sound better though.

4k is still king imho , but due to nukai not finishing the OS it is still lacking some 2010 features that 5k has....(tempo sync delays, quantized sequence jump for live performances etc...)

anyway i loved my 4k a lot. i think my best stuff was made with that beautyful machine, miss it a lot
