If I already have a MPC 1000 with JJos2xl is buying an MPC 2500 even justifiable?

I have a 1000 with JJOS 4.85 and a maxed out 2500 with Akai OS in it. The physical differences are what will determine whether it is justifiable. The 2500 has the tilt screen, Q-link knobs, a numeric keypad, four midi outs, eight 1/4 inch outputs and the CD Drive. There are work arounds for all of the differences, but it is more convenient that the 2500 has them already. The 2500, of course, has a larger footprint.

I am gonna sell my 1000 and stick with the 2500. More than likely, I will put JJ on my 2500 very soon. I have been impressed with it.

If you really want it, I say - get it!!

If you're going to install JJ on it then it's a perfectly justifiable upgrade, but I wouldn't have the need for both. Are you looking to sell the 1k if you make this move?

I'm going to keep my 1k. If JJOS levels the field for both machines I don't need it. I have had my eyes on a 4k or 60 though.

Screw the 1000!!! :D :D

I got one just to re-sell it. But it has JJOS on it and now that I have done some beats on it, I am attached to it and now I don't want to sell it. My 2500 is perfect, but I am thinking of keeping both!!
