And a little backwards and his name fits cause its also Erratic , maybe its me but trading the 2500 for my 4k was a blessing, THERE is a HUGE difference in sound with the 4k filters opposed to the2500, I used to think that was just hype but I now hear the difference for sure. Plus DJ Erratic, for future reference there is no difference in the machines timing, the "swing" is and time signatures are no different from mpc to mpc. The JJ 2500 is great piece of gear, I just hope you made money by flipping the previous mp's and purchasing the 2500

Out of me finding a below priced LE, I got the same sound plus more. A 3000 and a 4000 at a good deal. I just like the sound of the 3000 and how simple it is. I like the 2500 because of how simple it also is, navigation and only for mid to high range samples. It just fits me. I already have a fully decked daw anyways. The 4k to me surpassed my needs.
I know that the 4000 filters are different. I didn't stop to A and B the drums. I will take the risk of hearing the cheaper filters of the 2500 when it comes down to mixing...But that's why I have 3k, solved. If i was a complicated multi sampler, keyboardist and working producer i would keep it. But i do it purely for my satisfaction.
I actually did pocket a few hundred. I made a few hundred will go towards another whip or some kicks that fit.
