Which 2 mpcs/samplers out of 60/2k/3k and s950?

Hey there,

If you could pick 2 MPCs or samplers out of the 60, 2kxl, 3k and s950 (I guess you could also add s3k etc to the list) so as to give you the best overall mix of sound variety and functionality, which combo would you choose?

e.g. to get the biggest range of dark vs light, lo-fi and dirty vs clean and bright?

Or to have the biggest range or greatest coherence in sampling methods or fx?

I would probably also make one of the mpcs the main sequencer and slave the 2nd device to it for syncing and/or triggering samples.

I already have the 2000 classic and the 950. Thats a nice combination and really like it but sometimes I would like to also have the MPC 1000 with JJOS cause its small and rich on functions. Not that limitated.

3k and 950 , that combo 3ks killer sequencer and solid sound and the 950 12bit funk.

3k over the 60, 1) standard scsi, 2)low pass filter, 3)quicker cpu 4) solid and tight sound
