hello all, I am new in this forum and new to MPCs. have a question and forgive if it has been answered.
I play keyboards and I want to play basically just with a percussionist.
I make my own accompany patterns so that is taken care.
I need to be able to trigger INTRO, VERSES, CHORUSES, SOLOS, VAMPS and OUTROS.
I want to be able to jump at any time between them so I have control of the sequence of the songs I am playing.
they have to be on "cue" so say I am playing the VERSE, I need my verse to be looping and whenever I want to go the chorus I can hit the pad and the verse will end its cycle and then jump to the chorus. I want to have all parts of the song like that so it is always only ONE at the time except for the outro which will only play once to end the song.
Which MPC do I need or which software version? I have a MBP and an iPad and my partner the percussionis just ordered an MPC X
