The difference is in the kick drum. It's a lot more crunchy on the MPC60, but that could just be because it's 12-bit so it's hard to compare really.

that test was a little **** up. he didnt stargith sequence each of em he had one synced. the timing is different on the machines tho. ppl think all the mpc sequencers are the same. id like to see this test done better but it shows sequencer differences

the sequences were the same.......the sound was different.....that has to do with the limited dynamics of samples in the 60.....crispy....dirty....beautiful...but limited all the same

sequences were the same if you scroll thru the thread. I ended up triggering sounds off my fantom so 12 bit vs. 16 bit sound wasn't influencing decisions.
