2500 vs. 4000

my 4000 is a monster and its not as easy to operate as i thought....is the 2500 easier or should i say,more user friendly?im thinking about selling it for the 2500....yall fill me in please....heres my studio set up...i dont need the mpc for everything...http://home.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea ... 11df45b261

i havent.....why you ask?....i know i shouldve started on something older/smaller...whatever.i guess thats why im having a hard time with it....ive been told to move down to the 2500....and that i would love it....so help me out people...

I think you should keep the 4000 and learn how to use it properly before jumping ship so soon. Once you learn it, it is pretty simple to use.

However, the 2500 and any other MPC is easier to use right out the box....

nice studio setup. I'd say keep the 4000 and learn it ... btw, what state are you in with all that space?

Nah I think you should sell it and get the 2500
if the 4k is such a pain in the ass why bother

I agree, I traded a 4000 for traveling purpose only. There is a slight learning curve with the 4000, but like jahrome stated earlier," once you learn it, it will be pretty simple to use."

i'll trade you for a brand new 2k5, used once. comes w/ manual, powerchord, 32mb CF Card, 128 mb internal upgrade, even i haven't used it yet...i'm just playin...unless you gon' do it, LOL. but i wouldn't know how to go about doing that anyway?

I've only had my 4000 for about right at two weeks and i made a beat the third night I had it. I'm not saying I was satified with what I made but coming from the 2kxlse3 It wasn't that different to me. Be advised it's not the MPC that you use it's the person using it.

P.S. I must add the 4000 ain't no joke!

i live in salt lake city utah...somebody asked....well...i guess my issue is more that im not patient....i thoought it would be more user friendly but its not.....thanks guys...i think im gonna grind it out a little bit longer.....if not...im giving it to the salvation army!!!!!!

You paid the money for the 4k so put the time in to learn it...

Surely it's gonna be easier learning the one unit instead of multiple separate units to get the same feature set.

I say keep the 4K as your main hub, use it, learn it, make some $$$'s with it, and then grab a 2500 as well.

It's not as easy to operate. Give yourself a month with the unit and the manual, before you regret it. If you can't operate the 4000 then you can't operate the 2500 or 1000.
