I got my new MF catalog today and while flippin' through the pages I found the MPC section. Get this... The MPC 2500 is QUOTE... "Same as the MPC2000xl-MCD with 16mb memory expandable to 128 mb, expanded controls, mastering effects and 4 midi outs". The MPC1000 is QUOTE... A "Compact version of the MPC 2500". What the hell are they thinkin'? For the price and portability of the MPC1000, or should I call it the mini MPC2500, they are gonna sell tons of em and disappoint alot of people! They are still not the same. Close, but no cigar!
