pads on the 2000xl vs. 2500

is it me or are the pads on the 2000xl more softer than the pads on the 2500. i like the softer feel of pads....i wonder if those replacement pads from vst are the ones like those on the 2000xl....anyone know?

i like the pads on the 2500. i think once they get broke in they will be just as good. reminds me of what people said about the 2kxl and 3k

they are all the same. just different colors.

If the pads on the 2500 feel different to you then the pads from VST will feel different.
They are the same and they do change over time.
The biggest problem about the pads currently in use is their love for dirt and dust.

i totally disagree, i used the 2500 and have a 2xl and the 2xl pads are a so much softer than those hard 2500 pads, thats my main reason for not buying a 2500. im debating on buying a 4000, but wanna try the pads first, if they are like the 2500, imma pass and stick to the 2xl

The pads are the same. It may be what is under the pads that make the difference. The 2000, 2500, 3000, and 4000 all feel differently to me. Is one unit (in terms of how the pads feel) better than another? I don't think so.

Is it not common sense that the pads will wear and change feel over time?

My bottom 12 feel softer than the top 4 already as i use them more often...
