just purchased a mpc 4000 today...

I just purchased a mpc 4000 and i was wondering about transfering my sound /pgrms/ seq files to the 4000...is there an easy way, or am i beat....
I was hoping there's some 3rd party softare out there that makes this easy
from what i was told., only snd. files transfer'' pgrm and seq do not ..
Also, from the posts i see on this page alot of people would keep the 3000
because the of the sound quality...i've been using the 3000 since 95 and love it , but it's getting alittle old for taking out on live shows..i guess what im asking is the 4000 sound quality and writting as good or better ?.

Congrats on the new purchase. I love the 3000 now much more. I was stuck on the 2000xl because I was comfortable with it, but thats changing quickly. It'd be nice to get a 4000. However, with my samplers, I cant justify it.

For PGM, WAV & SND files, I use MPC Editor on the PC & MPCPGMMAKER on the Mac.

Could you create a standard MIDI file and get it into the 4000 that way?... I dont know, but!?!?!
