Why are the 3000's so much more than the 2000xl? I have worked with the 2000xl and loved it, but have recently found a good buy on the 3000. Thinkin I'm gonna go with the 3000.

i think its because people love the sound from the 3000 the best, out of all the other mpcs.. thats all i know at least. a lot of big time producers use it too, so that can also be why its so much... (dr. dre, hi-tek, etc.)

It's also built a hell of a lot better.

When I saw the 3000 for the first time, I could'nt beleive they'd take the time to put a ARM REST on that sucker.....maybe they'll come out with one that has CUP HOLDERS............lol

I used the 2000XL for allmost three years, and then I bought a 3000LE. I'm really loving my 3000 now, and don't want my 2000XL back.

You'll get used to trimming without seeing anything, and you could allways chop and trim on a computer. With the new OS the machine is not a big step back for a 2000XL user. I made a beat with no problems the first hour I got it, it dont take long time if you've allready used
MPCs.

And yes, the sound of the 3000 is dope, and its built way better! I think its better to look at as well.

+40 grand for a strat? why is it so much when you can pick up a brand new strat with active pickups and locking bridge? they call it classic for a reason. it'll never make sense to some of you.
