3000 vs 2000xl load speed?

Is the mpc3000 any faster than the 2000xl at loading samples, or is it the same speed or slower? I am cruious because the only mpc ive owned previously was a 2000xl and while i found sample loading rather slow, I can manage with the 3000 if the load/edit functions work at a similar pace.

Also is loading from CF media faster than Zip?

If you have a zip it's gonna be slower then a CF card of course. The transfer rates are completely different. As far as loading samples and stuff into the MP it's slower on the 3000 if you are still rockin floppy. If you have a SCSi with a Zip it's still slower then a CF card. If you have a 2000XL with the MCD it's the fastest you can go.
