What should I do?

i'm going to be picking up a second 2000xl i won from ebay, long story short, i bid on one on ebay, the seller wasn't replying to my friends messages and someone locally was selling one, so i picked one up locally so that i'd for sure have one, now my dilema is whether i should keep 2 2000xl's and sell my 1000 or should i keep the 1000 and 2000xl combo and get rid of 1 2000xl?? i definately need to get some funds back into my account, it would be nice to keep 3 of em, but i cant afford that right now... and be aware that i dont **** with the jj os and i havent really messed with my 1000 since i got my 2000xl..

How good are the 2KXLs hooked up?

keep the 1k and one 2000xl. then you can mix their own workflow together.

i love sequence and hit pads on the 2kxl, but i really love the 1k worflow ( chop shop and so on).

it is a nice combo.

plus, if you need to bring a beat and a machine somewhere, it is more easy to travel with the 1k while the 2k stays at home.

but if you never use the 1K..then, you've already anwser your problem. get rid of it. a dusty and useless machine doesnt worth anything

both got 32 mb of ram

one has an internal zip and it came with a external hd, 1 gb, so im using the external from the first one on the second one..

and yeah mang everhtings fine on both machines, no dead pixils and such things

both dont have 8 outs, but my mbox only records two ins at a time so not a problem there and i usually run my mixes though stereo pairs..

i think im going to sell the 1000, some of the pads are kinda **** and its missing 2 buttons... gotta wait for the 128 ram to come in, i purchased a 500, sent the ram in, but sold the 500, so my guess is the ram is still comming?? haha

dont use chop shop, dont use a lot of things on the 1000, i think im going with the 2 2000xl's i hardly take my mpc out of the house and even if i do, i have my turntable flight cases to put the 2000 in..
