mpc 2500 and AKai 4000 direct record

i know the 2500 has direct record.

does the 4000 have it????



on the 2500 can you only direct record on one one of the tracks??? can i direct record any other way other than using tracks..



on my 2000xl ----What do u use with the 8 outputs...

im recording using the jacks via mixer. i would rether use 8 outs to cubase any tips please.
