should í go to the 4k?

hi! need your advice....

i have the 1k with jjos, and a lot of outboard gear....
i sequence the stuff with my mpc and ableton... problem with the 1k is that midi recording + editing really sucks... i do not often sampling as many others here on the forum, my priority is sequencing....

so my question:
which midi features has the 4k compared to the 1k jjos?
do you use it to sequence your keys etc. and how do you do that?

i think i will sell the 1k and upgrade to mpc4k or mv8000 as a standalone sequencer without the pc. do you recommend it?

Check out the comparison thread and do some research mpcik and 4k has some similiar and different sequencer functions DOWNLOAD the manual but the sampling engine is way different. Do your homework don`t just ask, research you will be happier three months down the line working with what works best for you.
