I was looking at the product features list off of the comparison link and noticed Akai has the 4k somewhat equal to the rest of the clan. Is this some sort of marketing ploy? One of the obvious signs was the sequencer resolution comparison which had the 4k just as equal in terms of clock resolutions, as 96. I thought up until recently the 4k was 960 clock res? I'll take this as a mistake or they're trying to beef up their 2500 sales since the 4k is out of production now. Or maybe they're trying to say to the consumer "This is our flagship MPC, there's no difference between the 4k & 2500", WTF! I wonder if this is how they're going to eventually treat their next (soon to be seen) flagship MPC after it's been on the market for a while. Oh well, I guess it's safe to say the 4k is almost in the ranks with the rest of the classic MPC's...what a waste.
