mpc 1000 vs the 2500

othe than the pads dying out is there really a huge difference btwn the two, help me out with the technical differences

it is hard.....i want to know if the 2500 is worth shouting out the extra 1000$

with the os update the 1000 does all the real time time stretching, grid editing, auto slice and all that right?

With the JJ OS it does all those things and more!

I like the 2500. I just dont see it necessary unless you need more audio outs and midi outs. But it is great. I like to use whenever I go to the studio. I like the fact that I can take my 1000 more places with me when I travel or even go to work!
