2000xl vs. 2500 - sound and sequencer

if we was to judge by sound and the sequencer's timing and swing. how would you guys say these two compare.?? who has the advantage in:


Sound:
Swing:
Timing:


I dont need the auto chop features etc.


I cant find a 3000 so ima have to settle for either one, however my drums will be coming from a s950 though.

The 2500 has superior converters with regards to accurracy. It isn't spoken of often but the converters are really quite good. What you put in is what you get out. Sometimes that is what you want, sometimes it isn't.

The main advantage of a 2500 is funtionality. You don't need me to go over everything cause you can read it 100 times in other threads here.

Workflow is faster on the 2500 but the 2000xl is not far off. Personal preference comes into it though.
