if i already have a 2500 is there really a point in getting a 60 ? who has both a what are the advantages ? thanks

just get an s950

I hear the s950 has the old converters. Supposed to be "better", I'd rather say different than the 2500. In a Sound on Sound interview with DJ Premier, he states that he only uses an s950 midi'd to a 60. He uses the sampler in the s950 and the pads and sequencer of the 60. This interview was done back in July of this year so its current. So I guess the advantage is that you would be able to use a "different" sampler with your 2500, or you'd have the opportunity to use both or either. That does seem sort of attractive.
