2500 vs 1000

hey... i was wondering... i have a 2500 and i've heard some stuff about how the new jjos (2) might not be offered for that model if the 1000 version doesn't sell. if this happens, should i swap for a 1000? or is it not worth it for the new features? if someone could give advice it would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

obviously wait till it's certain or not if the jj OS will be available for the 2500 (really hope it will be, and think most likely will be)

what you would lose would be the bigger pads, the extra outs, the cd rom and the two extra assignable controllers.
i think the major thing i would miss would be the big size pads.
for the studio - maybe you could buy an MPD24 with the extra cash from 2500
as this would solve the pad and controller issue.
and who uses the cd... don't know many that do.

it is more than likely that os2 will be made for the 2500.
