Hey guys. Its been a long time since Ive posted anything on here because due to a lot of financial drama, I had to sell my 4k about a year and a half ago. Now Im in the market to get another one, but when I went to the music shop in my town today, all they had were the 2500. The salesman wouldnt quit giving me these pitches about how everybody uses the 2500 now and they are better than the 4k, etc.
So I was just wondering before I dropped a couple of grand on a box, should I go back to the 4k, or get a 2500 instead (since the 4k are kind of hard to find here).
Basically what I was using the 4k for was making beats and recording vocal and guitar loops directly into the box. Ive read the specs on each machine, but Im just wondering if I could use the 2500 for the same thing. I dont really want to listen much to the salesman, cause I know they only want to make money. All comments are welcome.
