What MPC is best for live performance.

First off. I am not an MPC owner, though Im going to purchase one relatively soon.

I am not a DJ either. Just a beatmaker/rapper, and now, Im thinking about starting an electro indie rap project WITHOUT live drums.

For the past few years as far as producing, Ive either used cheap drum machines, made one shots from that, or sequenced them in whatever programs I used.

I need to know what is the best MPC for live imporvised shit with a band.
the Zoom drum machines (cheap) worked okay, but that gives it a real real sketchy fuzzy sound.

As far as this, should I go with the 1000 or the 2000xl (as I know is the most universal and appraised).

Are you going to sequence live or trigger the MPC sounds manually the whole way through?

Ill do a bit of both. Davinci fr4om SoS uses the 2000xl. Like 3 of em usually.
