MPC2500 vs. MPC2000XL

Hey i'm tryna decide which one is better to get to start off wit for my first
MPC, help me decide, thanks?

i support the classic 2000xl for life....

it all depends on your current setup.... and where your taking it

For a starter i recommend a 1000 or the older MPc2000

Mpc 2000 is a work horse......ebay $500 or so
Be prepared to spend a little for maintanance (Zip,Floppy,Ect.). .....

the 1000 is A portable Solution with alot of options......ebay $700
The operating system is a little better... More up to date with digital media...

Dont get the MPC 500..... Trust me... any beat machine that light and small is not meant to be beat on.......even if it is made by AKAI

I would say go For a mpc 1000 or a 2000xl (if you can find a good one)



But what audio equipment do you already have?
answering that question should help alot with your Dilema...

If you have the dough.... Go for mpc2500

Personally... the 2000xl was the best Pro audio purchase of my life and i wouldnt trade my 2000xl for the world....


i still want a 2500 or 1000 though .............

i would really appreciate 25

for the damn jjos,

i make do with out it... the 25 has a little more ish

but the xl is all good

check out korgs and boss 303, 404 and def 555 if you into manipulating sound.... if you into toying with things with net to no equipment... mpcs have no effects really... well the xl certainly doesnt...

im still lookin for cats makin new style ish on them and i just cant find anyone.. still stuck on the no equipment tip
