1000 Kills Everything.

The marriage of JJ and 16 pads is ultimate. 3000 may have a better build but in terms of precise control over sound manipulation and sequencing, the 1k is Unstoppable. I have owned a 2k and a 1000, with the new pads and the JJ, this portable beast kills everything.

and how does it sound? that does JJ do for the sound?

JJ doesn't do anything to the sound that I notice... Also, no difference ,between the 2k and the 1k. I also can attest that it doesn't sound "Thin" at all. There may be a "Grittyness" that the 3k or 60 possess, but if so, the difference is negligible and not worth considering really as long as you know how to get a sample to sound like what it sounds like in your head. It gives me what I put into it. Just like the 2k did. Love the workflow on this thing!
