MPC vs MV vs RS-7000

hello everyone! I need some good advise about this situation, cause right now i have 2600$ and i need to spend it wisely.
i am a 20 years guy from Russia, straight from the capital, and I'm producing some d'n'b, techno, house, hip-hop and other stuff since 1999, using different soft and hardware. But one day i realized that i don't need all these vSt sampleros and other bulls**t cause of their stupidity and no-soul-sound.
Now i'm trying to build a new set-up with hardware sequencing and sampling line. My current gear list is very simple - i have iMac, Adam S1a monitors (my babes)))), Moog lil phatty, tc powercore, korg em (first one), m-audio audiocrap and groove tubes mic. so i need to add some hardware sequencing brains and some cool unit for live gigs.

i just sold a rs for like $400. you should of bought it & saved 22 hundred!
if you more into hip-hop i'd go w/ an mpc.
if the other genres you mention are your thing i'd say rs.
i have no experience w/ the roland.

mpc pads waaay better to play than the rs.
the rs has waaay more knobs & fx potential than the mpc.
stuff people don't realize is that the rs has things like note repeat controlled by a knob even if the track, pad, or event has already been recorded, so it just does crazy stuff to your loops. many other crazy things it does with all those knobs.
that said i like my mpc because i play it & i dont spend 10 years manipulating a hat. i could see drum n' bass fans loving the rs.

1 thing to note is that the rs is an old machine & it takes ALOT of time to strecth or chop a sample. even normalizing a sample is slow.

i have only used the mpc for for any str8 time (i have tested the roland units in a store for like a half hour) i would go with one of the units from roland, as a whole there a more legit company (i think) aka not owned by nucrap (aka numark) mpc,s dont offer much on the go functions, there place is in the studio to get perfect chops,tracking,midi controlling, there they are priceless!!!(i mean it in my personal experience changed the way i look at making music i came from software too) i have also been a dj for 3 years in california, so i can imagine what i would want out of a live sampler(need less to say i never take my mpc to a gig) the rolands have WAY better effect control especially for live use. to me mpc's are more of centerpieces in a hardware studio, they seem to me awkward for live use. hope i helped

the 500 is a real mpc,is in fact the portable mpc,a lot of more powerfull than the roland sp series

8000s can be had for about 800 or less sometimes. If you like to chop samples within the machine the mpc-500 is trash. The SP-606 is around $300 used and the P-606 software is pretty sick. The limit of 4 track sucks so you'll do a lot of layering.

The best bang for the buck is the MV - IMO.
