Problem to get the right notes on right keys...

Not sure about the correct termonology for this...

Im using a mpc 1000 with JJ OS 4.99I...

Trying to figure out how to assign the "right notes to the right keys" on my midi controller.
I made a piano program in the mpc (used a single note and put it out in diffrent pitch on each pad) and want to be able to play on the keybard instead of the pads.

How do I do this?

this is in the manual. check there if this doesn't make sense.
hit mode, pad 11. go to the second column 'note' -- this is where you set the note on the keyboard to trigger a sample.
