Gday

I'm on the latest JJ XL o/s on my mpc 2500. I was just scrolling through programs and it crashed. Was wondering if theres anything along the lines of a log or something that could help me figure out the problem. Thinking ive done something wrong with a program and want to not keep making same mistake, any help you guys can give would be really appreciated.

Peace from Aussie land

There nothing similar to a log in the 25k...
Try reinstaling the OS.
Or try to reproduce the crash to figure out exactly what caused it and report it to JJ =D

Hold down the 'erase' key & power up the mpc. Keep 'erase' pressed until the mpc finishes starting up. This will reset all the settings back to the default. Good thing to do when you are having problems or when you switch between OS's.

keep in mind you'll have to redo all your pad sensitivity settings when you do this, so you should make a note of them first.

I use the new OS 1.15 also with the 2500, and had no crashes. I used simult in 1 song and had no problems.

If there is a problem I can bet its the simult causing it, based on JJ's past statements and worries about it.

To OP and For those that don't know ,
If your using a HDD, you must format it with v3.09 before installing/using any other version.
