Computer not recognising MPC1000.

This hasn't been a problem whenever I've attempted to use my MP in the past.

I hook it up via USB as usual, switch it on and wait for the computer to recognise the memory card. For whatever reason, it doesn't. Does anybody know how I may be able to solve this?

It's worth mentioning that I'm not using the USB cable that was initially supplied with my MPC. I'm using another cable but physically, it's completely compatible.

Just use a card reader bro... much faster transfers

make sure after you hook it up, you are going to the load or save screen and pressing the USB button, thats when mine usually connects to the computer
